Personal Experience

Called to the Bar in 2008. She commenced her pupillage in Messrs Rozlan Khuen where she was exposed to various areas of law of corporate, litigation, intellectual property matters and conveyancing.

Starting off her first legal career with one of the city’s most friendly and established litigation law firm, Messrs Liow & Co, enabled Joyce to build her strong foundation of enthusiasm and legal professionalism. She work very closely with the partner of the firm and have handled high profile court matters. At the same time, she mastered the conveyancing practice independently.

Thereafter, she practiced in Messrs Majid and Chen and lead the firm’s Subang Branch. This has honed her skills as a real estate lawyer and laid down the foundation of what she is today. Later, in widening the scope of real estate and banking works, she joined Messrs David Gurupatham and Koay (DGK) where she was leading and managing the firm’s Velocity Branch.

She then decided to join the Firm with a vision to grow and flourish the whole firm operation and provide a better platform of services to all her clients.

Currently specializing in real estate, banking or conveyancing matters, she still constantly familiarizes and updates herself in all aspects of laws. She continues advising various body of clients on land acquisition matters, tenancy, developer advisory works, licensing and franchising, commercial agreements, probate and intestacy matters and so on.
